FOX - 3.2 Live Valve Premium Suspension System – Toyota Tacoma 2024–Current
FOX 3.2 Live Valve Premium Suspension System
Upgrade your 4th-generation Tacoma with a premium suspension package built around FOX 3.2 Live Valve technology, Camburg KINETIK billet upper control arms, and application-specific ICON rear springs and supporting 4WD hardware.
The FOX 3.2 Live Valve Premium Suspension System is designed for the Tacoma owner who wants considerably more than a conventional lift kit. At its core is FOX's complete four-corner electronically controlled Live Valve suspension system, paired with upgraded front suspension geometry and rear springs selected around how the truck is actually used.
The result is a premium package designed to deliver exceptional on-road control, serious off-road performance, and the ability to configure the rear suspension for either a relatively standard-weight Tacoma or a truck carrying substantial permanent overland equipment.
FITMENT NOTICE: This Premium suspension system is designed for 2024–Current Toyota Tacoma 4WD models only. It is not intended for 2WD applications.
What's Included
Every configuration includes:
- FOX 3.2 Live Valve complete front and rear suspension system
- Camburg KINETIK V2 billet upper control arms
- ICON rear coil springs selected for your vehicle setup
- ICON front differential drop kit for the 4WD drivetrain
- Required components supplied by the individual manufacturers with their respective kits
This Premium package is designed as a coordinated suspension system rather than simply combining a set of shocks with generic lift components.
FOX 3.2 Live Valve Technology
At the heart of this package is FOX's advanced 3.2 Live Valve suspension system.
Instead of relying exclusively on a fixed shock tune or requiring the driver to manually adjust damping every time conditions change, Live Valve uses electronically controlled damping to continuously respond to the vehicle and terrain.
FOX states that the system monitors terrain and driver inputs 400 times per second, allowing it to determine the damping required at each corner of the vehicle as conditions change.
This allows the suspension to react to situations such as:
- Acceleration
- Hard braking
- Cornering
- Body movement
- Rough pavement
- Washboard roads
- Gravel and fire roads
- Technical trails
- Rock crawling
- Larger off-road impacts
- High-speed desert terrain
The objective is simple: provide the control needed for aggressive off-road driving while retaining the refinement expected from a premium Tacoma during normal street and highway use.
FOX Factory Race Series Performance
FOX's 3.2 Live Valve system sits at the high-performance end of its Tacoma suspension lineup.
FOX specifies approximately:
Front Lift: 2–3 inches
Rear Lift: 0–1 inch
The large-body Factory Race architecture provides substantial fluid capacity and thermal management for demanding use, while the Live Valve electronics add real-time damping control.
For customers who use one truck for commuting, road trips, trails and serious off-road driving, this gives the suspension significantly greater adaptability than a conventional fixed-damping setup.
Camburg KINETIK V2 Billet Upper Control Arms
The Premium package upgrades the Tacoma's factory upper control arms with Camburg KINETIK V2 billet upper control arms.
These are a significant upgrade over simply installing the FOX suspension against an otherwise stock front end.
The Camburg UCAs are designed around lifted and high-performance Tacoma applications, helping provide the suspension geometry and additional capability appropriate for the increased performance of the FOX system.
They also give the Premium package one of its distinguishing visual features: CNC-machined billet construction with your choice of anodized color.
Choose Your Camburg UCA Color
Select the finish that best matches your Tacoma:
Gray
Red
Gold
Blue
The color selection changes the Camburg upper control arms only. The FOX and ICON components retain their respective manufacturer finishes.
Choose Your Suspension Setup
We've separated the rear spring configuration into two straightforward choices.
The correct selection should be based on the amount of permanent weight your Tacoma normally carries, not occasional cargo.
Daily + Trail – Standard Weight
Choose Daily + Trail – Standard Weight if your Tacoma remains relatively close to normal operating weight.
This is the appropriate configuration for trucks used for:
- Daily commuting
- Highway driving
- Weekend trail runs
- Desert trips
- Camping
- Recreational off-roading
- Occasional cargo
- Light accessory builds
This configuration uses ICON triple-rate rear coil springs to complement the FOX rear suspension while maintaining a setup appropriate for trucks without substantial permanent rear weight.
If your Tacoma is normally unloaded and you only occasionally fill the bed with camping equipment or cargo, this is the configuration you should choose.
Overland – Constant Added Weight
Choose Overland – Constant Added Weight if your Tacoma carries substantial equipment all or most of the time.
This configuration is intended for trucks equipped with permanent or semi-permanent accessories such as:
- Camper systems
- Rooftop tents
- Heavy bed racks
- Drawer/storage systems
- Recovery equipment
- Tools
- Spare fuel or water
- Overland kitchens
- Additional spare tires
- Other permanently installed equipment
The Overland configuration uses ICON's heavier-duty rear spring solution designed around approximately 600 lb of additional constant rear weight.
Do not choose the Overland configuration simply because you occasionally haul heavy cargo. A spring designed around constant added weight can be unnecessarily firm when installed on an otherwise lightly loaded truck.
If you're unsure, base your selection on how the Tacoma is configured during normal everyday driving.
4WD-Specific Configuration
This Premium system is configured specifically around the 4WD Tacoma.
Every variant includes an ICON front differential drop kit as part of the package.
When the front suspension is lifted, the operating angle of the front CV axles changes. The differential-drop system is intended to improve CV geometry by repositioning the front differential for the lifted 4WD application.
4WD ONLY
This product is not intended for 2WD Tacoma models.
Customers with a 2WD Tacoma should not order this Premium configuration.
Street Performance Without Giving Up Off-Road Capability
One of the primary reasons for building this package around Live Valve is versatility.
A serious off-road Tacoma may still spend the majority of its mileage on pavement. Traditionally, suspension tuning involves compromises between comfortable street manners, body control and aggressive off-road damping.
Live Valve provides FOX with another way of addressing that compromise by electronically adapting damping as vehicle inputs and terrain change.
That makes this Premium package particularly appropriate for a customer who wants a Tacoma that can serve as a refined daily-driven truck while still being equipped for significantly more demanding terrain.
FOX Connect
The Live Valve platform also integrates with the FOX Connect ecosystem, providing supported system functionality and information through FOX's mobile platform.
This electronic integration is one of the major differences between this package and our conventional FOX Factory Race suspension systems.
Why We Added the Premium Package
The standard FOX 3.2 Live Valve system is already an exceptionally capable four-corner suspension package.
Our Premium configuration builds around that foundation rather than replacing what FOX engineered.
We add:
Camburg billet upper control arms for an upgraded front suspension package.
Application-specific ICON rear springs so customers can choose between a standard-weight and constant-load configuration.
And an ICON differential drop to support the lifted 4WD front drivetrain configuration.
This creates a substantial step above the standalone FOX system without moving all the way into an Ultimate build with replacement lower control arms and a complete set of billet rear links.
Premium vs. Ultimate
This Premium package is intentionally focused.
It does not include Camburg Performance SLAPPER lower control arms, billet rear lower trailing arms, replacement rear upper links, or an adjustable rear track bar.
Those components are reserved for our FOX 3.2 Live Valve Ultimate Suspension System.
This creates a straightforward progression:
FOX 3.2 Live Valve
Complete FOX electronically controlled front-and-rear suspension.
FOX 3.2 Live Valve Premium
FOX Live Valve + Camburg KINETIK UCAs + application-specific ICON rear springs + 4WD differential-drop system.
FOX 3.2 Live Valve Ultimate
Our complete flagship chassis and suspension package for customers wanting to go beyond the Premium configuration.
