FOX 3.2 Live Valve Ultimate Suspension System – Toyota Tacoma 2024–Current
FOX 3.2 Live Valve Ultimate Suspension System
Take the 4th-generation Tacoma to the highest level of our suspension lineup with the FOX 3.2 Live Valve Ultimate Suspension System.
This is our flagship Tacoma suspension package, built around FOX's electronically controlled 3.2 Factory Race Series Live Valve system and expanded into a comprehensive front-and-rear suspension package using premium components from Camburg and ICON.
Rather than stopping at shocks, springs, and upper control arms, the Ultimate system upgrades the Tacoma's upper and lower front control-arm architecture, rear lower trailing arms, rear upper links, adjustable track bar, rear springs, and 4WD differential geometry.
The result is a system intended for the customer building a serious high-performance Tacoma while still wanting the adaptability of FOX Live Valve for everyday street driving.
FITMENT NOTICE: This Ultimate suspension system is configured for 2024–Current Toyota Tacoma 4WD models only. It is not intended for 2WD applications.
FOX currently lists the Tacoma Live Valve system for 2024-on applications with approximately 2–3 inches of front lift and 0–1 inch of rear lift. FOX's 4th-gen Tacoma collection identifies the complete Live Valve package as a 4WD full-vehicle system.
What's Included
Every Ultimate configuration includes:
- FOX 3.2 Factory Race Series Live Valve complete front and rear suspension system
- Camburg KINETIK V2 billet upper control arms
- Camburg Performance SLAPPER lower control arm system
- Camburg KINETIK billet rear lower trailing arms
- ICON billet rear upper links
- ICON billet adjustable rear track bar
- ICON rear coil springs selected for your vehicle's normal load
- ICON front differential drop for the 4WD drivetrain
- Color-matched Camburg upper control arms and rear lower trailing arms
This is considerably more comprehensive than our Premium Live Valve package and is designed for customers who want to upgrade the suspension system as a whole.
FOX 3.2 Factory Race Series Live Valve
At the center of the Ultimate system is FOX's 3.2 Live Valve technology.
FOX states that Live Valve monitors terrain and driver inputs 400 times per second, electronically adapting damping at all four corners as driving conditions change. Instead of relying on one fixed damping profile, the system can respond dynamically as the Tacoma transitions between pavement, gravel, rocks, rough trails and faster off-road terrain.
That adaptability is particularly important on a truck expected to perform multiple roles.
During normal street driving, the suspension can prioritize control and composure. As terrain becomes more demanding, Live Valve can alter damping response based on what the truck is experiencing.
FOX specifically positions its Factory Race Series for extreme off-road capability, damping control and durability.
FOX-Specified Lift Range
Front: approximately 2–3 inches
Rear: approximately 0–1 inch
Final ride height can vary with vehicle configuration, accessories, permanent load and spring selection.
Camburg KINETIK V2 Billet Upper Control Arms
The factory upper control arms are replaced with Camburg KINETIK V2 billet UCAs, giving the front suspension a premium aftermarket control-arm solution appropriate for the capability of the FOX system.
Rather than treating the UCA as a cosmetic add-on, it becomes part of the overall front suspension package.
Customers can select from:
Gray • Red • Gold • Blue
On the Ultimate system, your Camburg color selection controls both the front KINETIK upper control arms and rear KINETIK lower trailing arms, creating a coordinated front-to-rear finish.
Camburg Performance SLAPPER Lower Control Arms
This is one of the major upgrades separating Ultimate from Premium.
The Ultimate package replaces the factory front lower-control-arm arrangement with Camburg's Performance SLAPPER lower arm system.
For the customer building a serious Tacoma, upgrading both the upper and lower control-arm systems creates a much more complete front suspension package than simply installing high-end shocks against otherwise stock control arms.
This is exactly why we reserve the SLAPPER system for the Ultimate configuration.
Camburg KINETIK Billet Rear Lower Trailing Arms
The upgrades continue into the rear suspension.
The factory rear lower links are replaced with Camburg KINETIK billet lower trailing arms, giving the rear suspension a premium billet link solution that complements the Camburg components at the front.
These are color matched with the selected Camburg KINETIK UCAs:
Gray → Gray
Red → Red
Gold → Gold
Blue → Blue
This gives the Ultimate system a coordinated appearance while upgrading critical front and rear suspension components.
ICON Billet Rear Upper Links
The Ultimate package also replaces the factory rear upper links with ICON billet upper links.
ICON uses these billet upper links in its own high-stage 4th-generation Tacoma suspension systems, alongside upgraded rear lower links and an adjustable track bar.
Combined with the Camburg rear lower trailing arms, this gives the Ultimate package upgraded upper and lower rear link architecture.
ICON Billet Adjustable Rear Track Bar
Lifting the rear of a solid-axle vehicle changes the operating geometry of the track bar and can affect lateral axle position.
That's why we've included an ICON billet adjustable rear track bar rather than leaving the factory track bar in place.
ICON likewise incorporates its adjustable track bar into its higher-stage 4th-gen Tacoma suspension systems alongside upgraded upper and lower rear links.
For an Ultimate-level package, this is an important part of completing the rear suspension rather than focusing exclusively on shocks.
Choose Your Rear Suspension Setup
We've kept the spring selection straightforward.
Choose the configuration according to how much permanent weight the truck normally carries.
Daily + Trail – Standard Weight
Choose Daily + Trail – Standard Weight for Tacomas that remain relatively close to their normal operating weight.
This configuration is appropriate for:
- Daily driving
- Highway use
- Weekend trails
- Desert trips
- Recreational off-roading
- Camping
- Light accessory builds
- Occasional cargo
It uses ICON's triple-rate rear coil spring configuration, which ICON incorporates into its standard-weight high-stage Tacoma suspension systems.
If your Tacoma is normally unloaded and only occasionally carries camping gear or heavy cargo, this is the configuration to choose.
Overland – Constant Added Weight
Choose Overland – Constant Added Weight for a Tacoma carrying significant equipment on a permanent or near-permanent basis.
Examples include:
- Camper systems
- Rooftop tents
- Heavy bed racks
- Drawer systems
- Recovery equipment
- Permanently carried tools
- Spare fuel and water
- Overland kitchens
- Additional spare tires
- Other substantial permanently installed equipment
ICON's corresponding Overland Tacoma suspension architecture is designed around approximately 600 lb of additional rear weight, and ICON notes that changes in accessory weight will affect final lift height.
Do not select the Overland configuration solely because you occasionally haul heavy cargo.
If the truck normally runs close to stock weight, select Daily + Trail – Standard Weight.
4WD Differential Drop
Because this Ultimate configuration is specifically built for 4WD Tacomas, every variant includes a front differential drop.
Lifting an independent-front-suspension 4WD truck changes CV axle operating angles. The differential drop repositions the front differential to help address the driveline geometry associated with the lifted configuration.
ICON specifically requires its front differential drop on its comparable 4WD 4th-gen Tacoma suspension systems.
4WD ONLY
This Tough Terrain Ultimate configuration is being sold for 4WD Tacoma applications only.
Do not order this product for a 2WD Tacoma.
Why Build an Ultimate System?
A premium shock package can dramatically change how a Tacoma performs, but shocks are only one part of the suspension.
The Ultimate system approaches the truck differently.
Front suspension:
FOX Live Valve + Camburg billet upper control arms + Camburg SLAPPER lower control arms.
Rear suspension:
FOX Live Valve + Camburg billet lower trailing arms + ICON billet upper links + ICON adjustable track bar + application-specific ICON rear springs.
4WD drivetrain:
Supporting front differential drop.
That produces a much more comprehensive chassis package than simply adding expensive shocks to factory suspension links.
Premium vs. Ultimate
FOX 3.2 Live Valve Premium
Designed for the customer who wants FOX Live Valve with the most important supporting upgrades.
Premium includes:
FOX 3.2 Live Valve
Camburg KINETIK UCAs
ICON rear springs
4WD differential drop
FOX 3.2 Live Valve Ultimate
Designed for the customer who wants our flagship configuration.
Ultimate adds:
Camburg Performance SLAPPER lower control arms
Camburg KINETIK billet rear lower trailing arms
ICON billet rear upper links
ICON billet adjustable rear track bar
That transforms the package from a premium shock-and-supporting-component system into a much more comprehensive front-and-rear suspension build.
Important Fitment Information
Vehicle: Toyota Tacoma
Model Years: 2024–Current
Drivetrain: 4WD ONLY
FOX specifies approximately:
Front Lift: 2–3 inches
Rear Lift: 0–1 inch
Important: This package uses ICON rear coil springs and therefore should not be ordered for Tacoma configurations equipped with rear leaf springs. ICON gives the same restriction for its 4th-generation Tacoma systems using these rear suspension components.
Because this system modifies suspension geometry and ride height, a professional installation and complete alignment are strongly recommended. ICON also specifies ADAS recalibration after installation on its comparable 4th-gen Tacoma systems.
Which Configuration Should I Choose?
Daily + Trail – Standard Weight
Choose this if your Tacoma normally operates relatively close to standard weight. This is the better choice for daily-driven trucks, weekend trail rigs and vehicles that carry additional weight only occasionally.
Overland – Constant Added Weight
Choose this if your Tacoma carries approximately 600 lb of additional permanent rear weight from an overland, camping, recovery or work-oriented build.
Then select your Camburg finish:
Gray • Red • Gold • Blue
The selected color applies to the Camburg KINETIK front upper control arms and Camburg KINETIK rear lower trailing arms, while the remaining components retain their respective manufacturer finishes.
Recommended Ultimate Build
This system is intended for the Tacoma owner who doesn't want to stop halfway through a high-end suspension build.
FOX provides the electronically controlled Factory Race Series damping technology. Camburg upgrades the front upper and lower control arms and rear lower trailing arms. ICON completes the rear link architecture, load-specific spring configuration and 4WD supporting geometry.
The result is this flagship FOX Live Valve suspension package for the 2024–Current Toyota Tacoma 4WD—built for customers who expect the same truck to handle daily driving, long highway trips, overland travel and serious off-road terrain.
