ICON - Stage 12 CDEV Suspension Lift Kit - Tundra 2022-Current
ICON Stage 12 CDEV Suspension System
Take your Tundra’s suspension to ICON’s highest level of electronically adjustable performance with the Stage 12 CDEV Suspension System. Designed for drivers who want exceptional on-road control without sacrificing serious off-road capability, this system combines ICON’s premium 2.5 Series remote-reservoir suspension with CDEV electronic damping control, upgraded upper control arms, and the supporting components needed to create a complete high-performance suspension package.
Unlike a conventional suspension system with fixed shock settings, the Stage 12 CDEV system gives you the ability to electronically adjust damping characteristics to better match changing terrain and driving conditions. That means you can refine the Tundra for comfortable everyday driving, increase control for aggressive backroad use, or prepare the suspension for demanding trails and high-speed off-road terrain.
CDEV Electronic Suspension Control
At the heart of Stage 12 is ICON’s Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) technology.
CDEV provides electronically controlled compression damping through ICON’s Intelligent Control system, allowing the suspension to adapt to the way the truck is being driven. Instead of committing to one mechanical shock setting, the system gives the driver significantly greater control over suspension behavior.
The result is a Tundra that can remain composed and comfortable during normal street use while providing substantially more damping control when the terrain or driving style becomes aggressive.
ICON 2.5 Series CDEV Front Coilovers
The front suspension utilizes ICON 2.5 Series remote-reservoir coilovers engineered specifically around the chassis and suspension geometry of the third-generation Toyota Tundra.
The large 2.5-inch shock architecture provides increased oil volume and improved heat management compared with conventional OE-style dampers. Remote reservoirs further increase fluid capacity, helping maintain consistent damping performance during extended off-road use.
Combined with CDEV technology, the front coilovers provide excellent control over body movement, braking transitions, rough terrain and repeated impacts while retaining the refinement expected from a premium street-driven suspension system.
ICON 2.5 Series CDEV Rear Remote-Reservoir Shocks
Stage 12 carries the same performance philosophy to the rear of the truck with matching 2.5 Series CDEV remote-reservoir rear shocks.
The rear dampers are designed to work together with the front coilovers as a complete suspension system rather than simply adding upgraded rear shocks to a front lift.
This balanced approach improves rear-end control, stability and damping consistency whether the Tundra is traveling on pavement, washboard roads, desert terrain or technical trails.
Choose Your Upper Control Arm
Stage 12 is available with two premium ICON upper-control-arm configurations.
Tubular UCA
The Tubular configuration uses ICON tubular upper control arms equipped with Delta Joint Pro technology. This is an excellent choice for customers who want the full performance capability of Stage 12 with a strong, purpose-built off-road upper control arm.
Billet UCA
The Billet configuration upgrades the system to ICON’s premium billet aluminum upper control arms with Delta Joint Pro technology.
This is the flagship choice for customers looking for the highest-end construction, machining and appearance available in the Stage 12 system.
Both configurations are designed to complement the suspension geometry required by the upgraded front suspension.
Complete Stage 12 System
The package combines:
- ICON 2.5 Series CDEV front remote-reservoir coilovers
- ICON 2.5 Series CDEV rear remote-reservoir shocks
- ICON Intelligent Control components
- ICON sway-bar drop components
- ICON Delta Joint Pro upper control arms
- Choice of Tubular or Billet UCA configuration

Built for the Driver Who Wants One Suspension to Do Everything
Stage 12 is particularly well suited for a Tundra that serves multiple roles.
During the week, the truck can remain controlled and refined for commuting and highway driving. On the weekend, the same suspension has the damping capacity and adjustability needed for substantially more demanding terrain.
It is an excellent choice for:
Premium Daily Driving — Improved chassis control and a more refined suspension feel.
Fast Trail & Desert Driving — Increased damping capability and heat management for repeated impacts and higher speeds.
Technical Off-Road Use — Improved suspension control and articulation when terrain becomes difficult.
Overland Builds — Premium damping control for trucks that see a combination of highway mileage, dirt roads and extended backcountry travel.
Performance Tundra Builds — Ideal for owners who want ICON’s electronically controlled suspension technology rather than a conventional fixed-valving lift kit.
Tubular vs. Billet — Which Should You Choose?
Choose Tubular if you want the complete Stage 12 CDEV performance package while prioritizing rugged, functional off-road construction.
Choose Billet if you want the premium version of the system with ICON’s billet aluminum upper control arms and their distinctive high-end machined construction.
The suspension performance foundation remains Stage 12 CDEV in either configuration—the primary difference is the upper-control-arm construction.
Vehicle Fitment
Designed for:
Toyota Tundra — 2022–Current
Because suspension configuration and factory equipment can vary by model and drivetrain, vehicle fitment should be confirmed before installation.
Professional Installation Recommended
This is an advanced, electronically controlled suspension system. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
A complete alignment should be performed after installation to properly set suspension geometry and maximize handling, tire wear and overall suspension performance.
Off Road Recommendation
The ICON Stage 12 CDEV is for the Tundra owner who doesn't want to choose between a premium street suspension and serious off-road performance. With electronically controlled CDEV damping, 2.5 Series remote-reservoir shocks and premium ICON control arms, Stage 12 sits at the top end of the Tundra suspension lineup.
For customers building a high-end daily driver, trail truck, overland Tundra or performance-oriented off-road build, this is one of the most complete ICON suspension packages available.
