ICON - Stage 13 CDEV Suspension Lift Kit

Take your Tundra’s suspension to ICON’s highest level of 2.5 Series performance with the ICON Stage 13 CDEV Suspension System. Designed for drivers who want substantially more than a basic lift kit, Stage 13 combines premium remote-reservoir dampers, electronically controlled compression damping, upgraded suspension geometry, and adjustable rear links into one comprehensive performance package.

Stage 13 takes the already advanced Stage 12 platform and goes a step further by adding adjustable rear upper and lower links, giving the rear suspension greater articulation and additional geometry and pinion-angle adjustment.

The result is a complete front-to-rear suspension system engineered for drivers who expect exceptional control on pavement, improved capability on technical trails, and the heat management and damping performance needed for aggressive off-road driving.

CDEV Electronic Damping + ICON Intelligent Control

At the heart of Stage 13 is ICON’s Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) technology paired with ICON Intelligent Control (IIC).

Rather than relying on a conventional fixed shock setting, the electronically controlled system can continuously manage compression damping as driving conditions change. ICON Intelligent Control monitors vehicle movement and G-force inputs and commands damping adjustments to help keep the Tundra composed.

This allows the suspension to remain comfortable and controlled during normal street driving while providing substantially more damping support when the truck encounters hard impacts, rough terrain, rapid transitions, or aggressive off-road conditions.

2.5 Series CDEV Front Remote-Reservoir Coilovers

The factory front suspension is replaced with ICON 2.5 Series CDEV remote-reservoir coilovers engineered specifically for the Tundra platform.

The larger 2.5-inch shock architecture provides increased oil volume and greater heat-management capacity compared with smaller conventional dampers. Remote reservoirs further increase fluid capacity and help maintain consistent damping performance during extended hard use.

Vehicle-specific tuning is designed to improve:

  • Steering response and front-end control
  • Body-motion management
  • High-speed stability
  • Rough-road compliance
  • Suspension travel
  • Resistance to shock fade during demanding use

For appropriately equipped applications, ICON reports up to approximately 40% more front wheel travel compared with the factory suspension.

Delta Joint Pro Upper Control Arms

Stage 13 includes ICON Delta Joint Pro upper control arms, providing the geometry correction and additional articulation required to properly complement the upgraded front suspension.

The Delta Joint Pro design combines high angular movement with the durability needed for serious off-road use while maintaining road manners appropriate for a premium daily-driven Tundra.

Customers can choose between Tubular and Billet Stage 13 configurations.

Adjustable Rear Upper & Lower Links

This is one of the major upgrades that separates Stage 13 from Stage 12.

Stage 13 replaces the factory rear upper and lower links with ICON adjustable performance links. These components provide additional suspension articulation while allowing the rear suspension geometry and pinion angle to be properly dialed in.

For lifted and performance-oriented Tundras, this creates a much more complete suspension package rather than focusing solely on shocks and front-end components.

2.5 Series CDEV Rear Remote-Reservoir Shocks

Matching 2.5 Series CDEV remote-reservoir rear shocks provide electronically controlled damping at the rear of the truck, creating balanced performance across all four corners.

The larger shock bodies and remote reservoirs increase fluid capacity and thermal management for improved consistency during extended off-road use.

ICON’s internal Bump Zone technology also increases damping force as the shock approaches the end of its travel, helping control harsh bottom-out events during larger impacts.

Tubular Configuration

The Tubular configuration is designed for customers who prioritize rugged construction and maximum performance value.

It includes:

  • Tubular Delta Joint Pro upper control arms
  • Tubular adjustable rear upper links
  • Tubular adjustable rear lower links
  • 2.5 Series CDEV front coilovers
  • 2.5 Series CDEV rear remote-reservoir shocks
  • ICON Intelligent Control system
  • Front sway-bar correction components

This is an excellent choice for serious trail, desert, and mixed-use builds where function and durability are the priority.

Billet Configuration

The Billet configuration takes Stage 13 into ICON’s premium hardware tier.

It upgrades the system with CNC-machined billet aluminum upper control arms and rear links, providing premium construction and finish while retaining the geometry, articulation, and adjustability expected from the Stage 13 platform.

It includes:

  • Billet Delta Joint Pro upper control arms
  • Billet adjustable rear upper links
  • Billet adjustable rear lower links
  • 2.5 Series CDEV front coilovers
  • 2.5 Series CDEV rear remote-reservoir shocks
  • ICON Intelligent Control system
  • Front sway-bar correction components

Choose Billet when you want the most premium Stage 13 configuration available for your Tundra.

Who Should Choose Stage 13?

Stage 13 is for the customer who wants one of the most complete ICON suspension systems available for the Tundra.

It is particularly well suited for:

  • Premium Tundra builds
  • High-performance street and off-road trucks
  • Fast desert and rough-road driving
  • Technical trail use
  • Larger wheel and tire setups
  • Drivers who want electronically controlled damping
  • Customers who want upgraded rear suspension geometry instead of simply replacing the shocks
  • TRD Pro owners looking to significantly upgrade suspension performance while retaining the proper TRD Pro-specific setup

This is Premium Performance, not a conventional load-carrying Overland suspension package.

Important Fitment Information

Designed for 2022-current Toyota Tundra applications. Exact suspension height and available adjustment depend on engine configuration, trim level, factory suspension package, vehicle weight, and selected Stage 13 configuration.

TRD Pro models use a different adjustment range than standard Tundra models.

This system is not compatible with Tundras equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS).

Some 4WD configurations may require additional differential/CV-related components. Trucks equipped with certain TRD skid plates may also require additional installation hardware.

Larger tires, including approximately 35-inch applications, may require the correct wheel specifications along with trimming or other vehicle modifications for proper clearance.

ADAS recalibration is required following installation.

An iOS device is required for operation and configuration of the ICON Intelligent Control system.

Professional installation followed by a complete suspension alignment and system setup is strongly recommended.

Tough Terrain Off Road Recommendation

For customers comparing ICON’s upper-level Tundra systems, Stage 13 is the choice when you want the electronically controlled CDEV performance of Stage 12 but also want to upgrade the rear suspension links and gain additional rear geometry adjustment and articulation.

Stage 12: Premium CDEV/IIC suspension system.

Stage 13: Premium CDEV/IIC suspension plus upgraded adjustable rear upper and lower links for a more complete front-to-rear suspension build.
