ICON Stage 13 CDEV Suspension System

The ICON Stage 13 CDEV Suspension System is one of ICON's most comprehensive suspension packages for the 2024-Current Toyota Tacoma. Designed for owners who want premium on-road control, serious off-road performance, and electronically managed suspension adjustment, Stage 13 combines ICON's 2.5 Series CDEV remote-reservoir shocks with ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) and a complete set of front and rear suspension upgrades.

Stage 13 goes beyond a traditional shock-and-spring system by adding Delta Joint Pro upper control arms, upgraded rear upper and lower links, an adjustable rear track bar, rear coil springs, and a front differential drop kit.

Choose between Tubular or Billet suspension components and Triple Rate or Overland rear springs to configure the system around your Tacoma's build and intended use.

What's Included

Every Stage 13 configuration includes:

  • ICON 2.5 Series CDEV remote-reservoir front coilovers
  • ICON 2.5 Series CDEV remote-reservoir rear shocks
  • ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) system/install kit
  • ICON Delta Joint Pro upper control arms
  • ICON rear upper link kit
  • ICON rear lower link kit
  • ICON adjustable rear track bar
  • ICON rear coil spring kit
  • ICON front differential drop kit
  • Vehicle-specific front and rear suspension tuning
  • Required system components for the selected configuration

CDEV + ICON Intelligent Control

Stage 13 features ICON's Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) technology paired with the ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) system.

Rather than relying solely on a manually selected compression setting, the IIC system uses vehicle movement and G-force information along with the driver's selected settings to actively control compression damping.

The system can rapidly adjust the CDEV-equipped shocks as driving conditions change, providing a suspension that can respond dynamically during everyday driving, cornering, braking, rough terrain, and higher-speed off-road use.

This technology gives Stage 13 the ability to combine compliant ride quality with increased chassis control when the vehicle needs it.

Choose Your Suspension Configuration

Tubular

The Tubular configuration uses ICON tubular Delta Joint Pro upper control arms along with tubular rear suspension links.

This configuration delivers the complete Stage 13 CDEV/IIC system and comprehensive suspension geometry upgrades while keeping the overall package cost below the Billet version.

Choose Tubular if maximum performance-per-dollar is the priority.

Billet

The Billet configuration upgrades the system with ICON's premium billet aluminum Delta Joint Pro upper control arms and billet rear suspension components.

Billet components provide ICON's premium construction, appearance, and additional adjustment capability for customers building a top-tier Tacoma suspension system.

Choose Billet if you want the highest-spec Stage 13 component package.

Choose Your Rear Springs

Triple Rate

The Triple Rate configuration is the preferred all-around choice for Tacomas that are not carrying substantial permanent rear accessory weight.

ICON's Triple Rate rear springs are designed to provide a balance of ride quality, suspension travel, load handling, and off-road performance while complementing the Stage 13 shock and link package.

Choose Triple Rate for daily-driven, recreational, and trail-focused Tacomas without a heavy permanent overland load.

Overland

The Overland configuration is intended for Tacomas carrying significant constant rear weight from permanently installed equipment and accessories.

Typical examples include:

  • Heavy rear bumpers
  • Drawer and storage systems
  • Camping equipment
  • Recovery equipment
  • Bed racks and accessories
  • Other permanently carried overland equipment

The Overland spring should be selected based on constant vehicle weight, not occasional cargo.

If your Tacoma normally remains relatively light and only carries extra equipment occasionally, the Triple Rate configuration will generally be the more appropriate choice.

Complete Rear Suspension System

Stage 13 provides substantially more rear suspension control than a conventional shock-and-spring package.

The system upgrades the rear suspension with:

  • Rear upper links
  • Rear lower links
  • Adjustable rear track bar
  • Upgraded rear coil springs
  • 2.5 Series CDEV remote-reservoir rear shocks

The upgraded links improve rear axle control and suspension geometry, while the adjustable track bar allows proper lateral positioning of the rear axle as suspension height changes.

Combined with ICON's CDEV rear shocks and matched coil springs, these components create a comprehensive rear suspension package designed to work together as a system.

Performance Highlights

  • ICON 2.5 Series remote-reservoir suspension
  • CDEV electronic compression damping
  • ICON Intelligent Control active suspension management
  • Vehicle-specific front and rear shock tuning
  • Adjustable front coilovers
  • Delta Joint Pro upper control arms
  • Upgraded rear upper and lower links
  • Adjustable rear track bar
  • Upgraded rear coil springs
  • Front differential drop kit
  • Increased suspension travel compared with stock
  • Improved front and rear suspension geometry
  • Remote reservoirs for increased oil capacity and heat management
  • Fully serviceable shock construction
  • Designed for premium on-road and serious off-road performance
