Stage 3 CDXS Suspension Lift Kit
Transform your 2022-current Toyota Tundra into a highly tunable, load-ready trail and overland platform. ICON’s Stage 3 3.0 CDXS system combines large-body remote-reservoir dampers, upgraded control arms and rear links, triple-rate rear coil springs, an adjustable rear track bar, and independent high- and low-speed compression adjustment for exceptional control on pavement and demanding terrain.
Independent CDXS compression control
CDXS technology gives the driver separate control over low-speed and high-speed compression damping. Low-speed adjustment helps tune body motion, steering response, braking stability, and load control, while high-speed adjustment manages sharp impacts, washboard roads, rocks, and sudden suspension events. Each circuit offers 10 clearly indexed settings, allowing the suspension to be tailored for daily driving, cargo, towing, overland travel, or aggressive trail use.
3.0 Series performance
Large 3.0-inch remote-reservoir front coilovers and rear shocks provide significantly greater piston area, oil volume, heat dissipation, and resistance to shock fade than smaller dampers. ICON’s multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone progressively increases damping near full compression to help control severe impacts and reduce harsh bottom-outs.
Stage 3 system upgrades
- Triple-rate rear coil springs improve ride quality, rear support, articulation, and stance
- On-vehicle adjustable billet rear track bar helps recenter the rear axle after lifting
- Upgraded front upper control arms improve alignment range, suspension geometry, strength, and clearance
- Upgraded rear upper and lower links improve articulation, reduce deflection, and permit pinion-angle adjustment
- Front sway-bar drop brackets reduce bind through the suspension’s travel
- Up to approximately 40% more front wheel travel and 20% more rear wheel travel than stock
- Fully rebuildable and re-tunable ICON dampers
Choose the correct configuration
Tubular: Heavy-duty tubular steel front upper control arms and tubular rear links deliver excellent strength, performance, and value. Typical gasoline-engine front lift range is approximately 2–3.25 inches.
Billet: Precision-machined billet aluminum front upper control arms and billet rear links provide premium construction, corrosion-resistant finishes, and convenient on-vehicle adjustment. Typical gasoline-engine front lift range is approximately 1.25–3.25 inches.
Lower Rear Lift: Uses the shorter triple-rate rear spring configuration for customers seeking less rear lift and less rake.
Taller Rear Lift – TRD Recommended: Uses the taller triple-rate rear spring configuration. It provides approximately 0.75 inch of rear lift on TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, and TRD Pro models, or approximately 1.25 inches on non-TRD trucks seeking a taller rear stance.
Lift, tire fitment, and vehicle differences
- Designed to support tire fitment up to approximately 35x12.50 inches with suitable wheels; trimming or other modifications may be required
- Hybrid models generally achieve less front lift because of additional vehicle weight
- TRD Sport and TRD Pro models begin at different factory ride heights, so final measured lift will vary
- Permanent bumpers, winches, armor, racks, campers, cargo, and other accessories can reduce achieved ride height
Load-carrying guidance
The triple-rate rear coils improve support and suspension control for accessories and overland equipment compared with the factory springs. This suspension system does not increase Toyota’s GVWR, axle ratings, towing limit, or legal payload rating. Final ride height and handling depend on permanent accessory weight, cargo placement, and the selected rear spring configuration.
Important installation notes
- Not compatible with factory load-leveling rear air suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension
- Some four-wheel-drive trucks without the TRD Off-Road package may require driveline correction
- Automatic-leveling headlights and the factory TRD aluminum skid plate may require additional correction hardware
- Professional installation, a complete alignment, and recalibration of applicable driver-assistance systems are strongly recommended
