ICON - Stage 4 CDEV Suspension Lift Kit

Bring active, electronically controlled suspension tuning to your 2022-current Toyota Tundra. ICON’s Stage 4 CDEV suspension system combines large 3.0-inch front coilovers, remote-reservoir rear shocks, upgraded front and rear suspension links, and ICON Intelligent Control for near-instant compression-damping adjustment. It is engineered for drivers who want premium road comfort, confident handling, and serious trail performance without manually stopping to adjust each shock.

ICON Intelligent Control and CDEV

Compression Damping Electronic Valves allow the system to adjust damping while the truck is moving. The intelligent controller monitors vehicle movement and G-forces, then responds with rapid damping changes at the shocks. Drivers can select and customize behavior through the companion mobile app; once configured, the system operates automatically so attention can remain on the road or trail.

3.0 Series front performance

Large 3.0-inch remote-reservoir front coilovers provide significantly greater piston area, oil capacity, heat dissipation, and resistance to fade than smaller dampers. ICON’s multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone progressively increases damping near full compression, helping manage severe impacts and reduce harsh bottom-outs while maintaining control through fast or rough terrain.

Balanced rear suspension control

Matched 2.5-inch rear remote-reservoir shocks provide additional oil volume and cooling for consistent damping under demanding use. Their internal Bump Zone adds compression support near the end of travel, while electronic valves work with the front coilovers to deliver balanced active control from front to rear.

Stage 4 chassis upgrades

  • Upgraded front upper control arms improve suspension geometry, alignment range, strength, and clearance
  • Upgraded rear upper and lower links improve articulation, reduce deflection, and permit pinion-angle adjustment
  • Front sway-bar drop brackets reduce link bind through the suspension travel range
  • Up to approximately 40% more front wheel travel and 20% more rear wheel travel than stock
  • Fully rebuildable and re-tunable ICON dampers

Choose your construction

Tubular: Heavy-duty tubular steel front upper control arms and rear links provide excellent strength, durability, and performance value. Typical gasoline-engine front lift range is approximately 2–3.25 inches.

Billet: Precision-machined billet aluminum front upper control arms and rear links provide premium construction, corrosion-resistant finishes, and convenient on-vehicle adjustment. Typical gasoline-engine front lift range is approximately 1.25–3.25 inches.

Lift and tire fitment

  • Designed to support tires up to approximately 35x12.50 inches with properly selected wheels
  • Minor trimming or other modifications may be required depending on wheel offset, tire dimensions, alignment, and ride height
  • Hybrid models generally achieve less front lift because of additional vehicle weight
  • TRD Sport and TRD Pro models begin at different factory ride heights, so measured lift will vary
  • Permanent bumpers, winches, armor, and other accessories can reduce achieved ride height

Best use

This system is designed for the premium daily driver and serious trail enthusiast who wants active damping, excellent heat management, improved geometry, and high-speed terrain control. It retains the factory rear coil springs, so it is not a dedicated constant-heavy-load spring package and does not increase the truck’s factory payload, GVWR, towing, or axle ratings.

Important installation notes

  • Not compatible with factory load-leveling rear air suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension
  • Some four-wheel-drive trucks without the TRD Off-Road package may require driveline correction
  • Automatic-leveling headlights and the factory TRD aluminum skid plate may require additional correction hardware
  • The electronic controller and related hardware require correct installation and mobile-app setup
  • Professional installation, a complete alignment, and recalibration of applicable driver-assistance systems are strongly recommended
