ICON Stage 5 Suspension System

Take your 2024+ Toyota Tacoma suspension to the next level with the ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 5 Suspension System. Stage 5 combines ICON’s 2.5 VS Remote Reservoir CDCV coilovers and rear shocks with upgraded Delta Joint Pro upper control arms, giving you substantially more suspension control and on-the-fly damping adjustment for daily driving, overlanding, and demanding trail use.

The biggest upgrade at Stage 5 is ICON’s Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) technology. The external adjusters allow you to fine-tune compression damping to match changing terrain, vehicle weight, and driving conditions without replacing or revalving the shocks.

This product is offered in multiple configurations so you can select the rear spring setup and upper control arm construction that best match how your Tacoma is built.

Choose Your Rear Spring Configuration

Stock Rear Springs – 0 lb Added Load
Best for Tacomas that remain close to factory rear weight. This configuration retains a more appropriate spring rate for trucks without significant permanent accessories or cargo.

Available with Billet Delta Joint Pro UCAs.

Triple-Rate Rear Springs – Variable Load
The most versatile choice for Tacomas that regularly transition between unloaded daily driving and carrying additional gear. ICON’s triple-rate spring design provides progressive support through the suspension travel rather than being designed around one fixed constant load.

Available with Tubular or Billet Delta Joint Pro UCAs.

Overland Rear Springs – 600 lb Constant Load
Designed for heavily equipped Tacomas carrying approximately 600 lb of constant additional rear weight from permanent equipment such as bed racks, campers, drawer systems, recovery equipment, spare tires and other overland accessories.

This option is intended for constant added weight, not simply occasional payload.

Available with Tubular or Billet Delta Joint Pro UCAs.

Choose Your Upper Control Arms

Tubular Delta Joint Pro
ICON tubular steel upper control arms provide increased strength, improved suspension geometry and additional alignment capability for lifted applications. They use ICON’s Delta Joint Pro for high-angle articulation while maintaining excellent road manners.

Billet Delta Joint Pro
The premium UCA option. ICON’s CNC-machined billet aluminum control arms provide the same performance-oriented geometry and Delta Joint Pro technology in a high-end billet construction.

Both options are designed specifically to complement the increased travel and geometry of the ICON suspension system.

Stage 5 Includes

Depending on the selected variant, the system includes:

  • ICON 2.5 VS Remote Reservoir CDCV front coilover kit
  • ICON 2.5 VS Remote Reservoir CDCV rear shocks
  • ICON Tacoma front differential drop kit
  • ICON Delta Joint Pro upper control arm kit
  • Selected ICON rear spring configuration
  • Application-specific installation components included by ICON

Why Choose Stage 5?

Stage 5 is an excellent choice for Tacoma owners who want a suspension system that can be adjusted to the way the truck is actually being used.

The CDCV adjusters allow you to run a more comfortable setting for normal street driving and then increase compression damping when the truck is loaded or when additional control is needed off-road. Remote reservoirs increase oil capacity and help manage heat during sustained suspension use.

Combined with the Delta Joint Pro UCAs and your choice of rear springs, Stage 5 provides a major improvement in suspension control without forcing every Tacoma into the same configuration.

Which Variant Should I Choose?

Mostly stock Tacoma / little permanent rear weight:
Choose Stock Rear Springs – 0 lb Added Load / Billet Delta Joint Pro

Daily driver + changing amounts of camping or trail gear:
Choose Triple-Rate Rear Springs – Variable Load

Camper, heavy bed rack, drawers and other permanent equipment:
Choose Overland Rear Springs – 600 lb Constant Load

For Triple-Rate and Overland configurations, choose Tubular for the performance-focused option or Billet if you want ICON's premium CNC-machined UCA construction.

Fitment can vary depending on drivetrain, trim, factory equipment, vehicle weight and other modifications. Verify vehicle configuration before ordering.

Important Rear Spring Note

The 600 lb Overland spring is intended for approximately 600 lb of constant additional rear weight. It should not be selected simply because the truck occasionally carries that amount of cargo.

For trucks that frequently change between unloaded and loaded conditions, the Triple-Rate Variable Load configuration is generally the more appropriate choice.

Sold as a complete matched ICON suspension system. Components vary according to the selected rear spring and upper control arm configuration.
