ICON - Stage 6 Suspension 2.5 Lift Kit - Tundra 2022-Current
ICON - Stage 6 Suspension 2.5 Lift Kit
Upgrade your 2022-current Toyota Tundra for sustained performance on pavement and rough terrain. The ICON Stage 6 2.5 suspension system combines remote-reservoir front coilovers, remote-reservoir rear shocks, upgraded upper control arms, and sway-bar correction. It is engineered for drivers who need improved body control, greater heat capacity, and consistent damping during repeated high-speed suspension cycling.
Stage 6 performance advantage
Stage 6 advances beyond Stage 5 by adding remote reservoirs to the 2.5 Series front coilovers. With remote reservoirs at both the front and rear, the system gains additional oil volume and cooling surface area to resist overheating, cavitation, and damper fade during long stretches of washboard roads, fast trail driving, and other demanding use.
Remote-reservoir front coilovers
The 2.5 Series front coilovers use Tundra-specific lengths and valving to improve steering response, body control, and ride quality. Their large shock bodies and external reservoirs provide increased damping capability and heat management while offering adjustable front ride height for a leveled stance and larger tire clearance.
Balanced rear suspension control
Matched aluminum rear monotube shocks use remote reservoirs to maintain more consistent performance as temperatures rise. Their vehicle-specific tuning works with the front coilovers to deliver a controlled, predictable ride on the street and improved stability over uneven terrain.
Choose your upper-control-arm construction
Tubular: Heavy-duty tubular steel upper control arms provide excellent strength, durability, and performance value. Corrected geometry supports improved alignment and drivability at lifted ride heights. Typical gasoline-engine front lift range is approximately 2–3.5 inches.
Billet: Precision-machined billet aluminum upper control arms provide premium construction, corrosion-resistant finishes, and convenient on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment. Typical gasoline-engine front lift range is approximately 1.25–3.5 inches.
Key benefits
- Remote reservoirs at the front and rear improve cooling and resistance to shock fade
- Vehicle-specific tuning delivers balanced road comfort and trail control
- Upgraded upper control arms improve geometry, alignment range, strength, and clearance
- Serviceable high-articulation control-arm joints help eliminate bind through full suspension travel
- Sway-bar drop brackets reduce sway-bar-link bind
- Up to approximately 40% more front wheel travel than stock
- Fully rebuildable and re-tunable ICON dampers
- Bolt-on installation with no cutting or welding under normal applications
Lift and tire fitment
- Designed to accommodate tires up to approximately 35x12.50 inches with properly selected wheels
- Minor trimming or other modifications may be required depending on wheel offset, tire dimensions, alignment, and ride height
- Hybrid models generally achieve less front lift because of additional vehicle weight
- TRD Sport and TRD Pro models begin at different factory ride heights, so measured lift will vary
- Rear shocks support approximately 0–1.5 inches of rear lift on standard rear-coil models and approximately 0–1 inch on TRD-equipped models
- Permanent bumpers, winches, armor, and other accessories can reduce achieved ride height
Best use
This system is best suited to performance-focused daily drivers and Trail Ready builds that regularly encounter washboard roads, fast trails, or repeated rough-terrain use. It retains the factory rear coil springs, so it is not a dedicated constant-heavy-load spring package and does not increase the truck’s factory payload, GVWR, towing, or axle ratings.
Important installation notes
- Not compatible with factory load-leveling rear air suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension
- Some four-wheel-drive trucks without the TRD Off-Road package may require driveline correction
- Vehicles equipped with the factory TRD aluminum skid plate may require additional spacer hardware
- Professional installation, a complete alignment, and recalibration of applicable driver-assistance systems are strongly recommended
