ICON - Stage 9 Suspension System

Take your 4th Gen Tacoma to the next level with the ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 9 Suspension System, a premium performance suspension package designed for drivers who want exceptional on-road control, high-speed off-road capability, and extensive suspension adjustability.

Stage 9 features ICON's CDXS (Compression Damping eXternally adjustable – Dual Speed) technology, giving you independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment. This allows the suspension to be fine-tuned for everything from daily driving and loaded overland travel to aggressive trail and high-speed off-road use.

Choose from Tubular or Billet upper control arms and three rear suspension configurations to match how your Tacoma is actually used.

Why Choose Stage 9?

  • ICON CDXS adjustable front coilovers
  • ICON CDXS adjustable rear reservoir shocks
  • Independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment
  • Increased front suspension travel
  • Improved damping and vehicle control on and off road
  • ICON Delta Joint Pro upper control arms
  • ICON billet rear lower links
  • Vehicle-specific suspension geometry
  • Multiple rear spring configurations
  • Fully serviceable and rebuildable performance shocks
  • Designed specifically for the 4th Gen Toyota Tacoma

Choose Your Rear Suspension Setup

Standard Rear
Best for Tacomas that remain relatively close to factory rear weight. This configuration retains the factory rear coil springs while upgrading the major performance suspension components. Choose this setup if you don't need additional rear spring capacity.

Daily + Trail / Triple Rate
The best all-around choice for a Tacoma that sees a combination of daily driving, weekend trails, and changing cargo loads. ICON's Triple Rate rear springs provide a compliant everyday ride while adding additional support as the suspension moves deeper into its travel or the truck carries additional weight.

Overland / Constant Added Weight
Designed for Tacomas carrying consistent additional rear weight from equipment such as bed racks, campers, drawers, recovery equipment, tools, spare tires, and other permanent overland accessories. Choose this option when significant added weight stays on the truck most of the time.

Choose Your Upper Control Arms

Tubular UCA
ICON's tubular Delta Joint Pro upper control arms provide the geometry correction, strength, and additional articulation needed for the Stage 9 suspension while keeping the package more cost-effective.

Billet UCA
Upgrade to ICON's premium CNC-machined billet aluminum Delta Joint Pro upper control arms for customers looking for ICON's highest-end UCA construction, premium appearance, and performance.

Both options are engineered for the Tacoma and designed to complement the increased suspension travel of the Stage 9 system.

Fitment

Vehicle: Toyota Tacoma
Generation: 4th Gen
Model Years: 2024–Current

Professional installation and a complete alignment are recommended after installation.

Important

Rear spring selection should be based on the truck's normal operating weight, not simply the heaviest load it may occasionally carry. Selecting an Overland spring for a lightly equipped truck can result in a firmer ride than intended.

For customers who aren't sure which configuration to choose, Daily + Trail / Triple Rate is the most versatile option for mixed street and off-road use.

Six configurations are available, allowing you to select the rear spring setup and ICON UCA construction that best match your Tacoma rather than paying for components that don't fit how you actually use the truck.
