The Tough Terrain Off Road KING 2.5 + Camburg SLAPPER Ultimate Suspension System is designed for Tacoma owners who want a substantially more complete performance build rather than piecing together individual suspension components.
At the heart of the system are KING 2.5 remote-reservoir front coilovers and rear shocks with external adjusters. The package then expands the Tacoma's suspension architecture with Camburg KINETIK billet upper control arms, Camburg SLAPPER lower control arms and front bump-stop system, upgraded KING sway-bar links, ICON hydraulic rear bump stops, and a complete ICON billet rear-link package.

Choose Your Suspension Setup
Daily + Trail / Standard Weight
Best for: Daily-driven Tacomas, aggressive weekend trail use, and performance builds that do not carry substantial permanent rear weight.
This configuration includes the ICON Triple Rate Rear Coil Spring Kit.
The triple-rate design is intended to provide a balance between everyday ride quality and increased support as the suspension progresses through its travel. This makes it the preferred configuration for trucks that remain relatively close to their normal operating weight but are still expected to perform when driven off-road.
Choose Daily + Trail if your Tacoma is:
- Primarily a daily driver
- Used regularly on trails or dirt roads
- Stock or moderately equipped
- Not carrying substantial permanent rear weight
- Built around a combination of street comfort and serious off-road capability
Rear Springs: ICON 51213
Overland / Constant Added Weight
Best for: Tacomas carrying substantial permanent or near-permanent additional rear weight.
This configuration includes the ICON Overland Rear Coil Spring Kit, designed for heavier vehicle configurations where additional equipment remains installed on the truck.
Choose Overland if your Tacoma regularly carries:

Rear Springs: ICON 51215
Important: Don't select the Overland configuration simply because you occasionally carry cargo. If your Tacoma normally operates at stock or moderate weight, choose Daily + Trail / Standard Weight.
KING 2.5 Remote Reservoir Suspension
The foundation of this system is KING's 2.5-inch remote-reservoir front and rear suspension.
The system combines front remote-reservoir coilovers and rear remote-reservoir shocks with external adjusters, giving the driver additional control over suspension damping.
Remote reservoirs increase available fluid capacity and help manage shock temperatures during demanding operation, making this architecture well suited to repeated off-road use and more aggressive terrain.
The result is a premium damping package capable of supporting everything from everyday street driving to demanding trail environments.
Camburg KINETIK Billet Upper Control Arms
The factory upper control arms are replaced with Camburg KINETIK V2 Billet Uniball Upper Control Arms.
These performance-oriented UCAs complement the KING front suspension and provide an upgraded front suspension component designed around increased articulation, strength, and suspension performance.
They're also available in four finishes:

The selected color changes the UCA finish only and does not change the performance or configuration of the suspension system.
Camburg SLAPPER Front Suspension System
This is one of the major components separating this package from the standard KING 2.5 Ultimate system.
The factory lower-control-arm area is upgraded with the Camburg Performance SLAPPER Lower Control Arm Kit, paired with Camburg's dedicated SLAPPER bump-stop mounting system and KINETIK bump stops.
Instead of relying solely on the Tacoma's conventional factory bump-stop arrangement, the SLAPPER system integrates a performance bump-stop solution into the upgraded front suspension package.

Together, these components provide a much more comprehensive front suspension build designed for customers who intend to use the additional capability of their KING suspension.
Front + Rear Bump Stop Upgrades
This package upgrades bump-stop control at both ends of the Tacoma.
The front uses the Camburg SLAPPER system with KINETIK bump stops, while the rear receives the ICON 2.0 Hydraulic Bump Stop Kit.
Hydraulic bump stops provide additional progressive control near the end of suspension travel, helping manage harder compression events when the suspension is being pushed aggressively.
For a high-end off-road suspension package, this creates a much more complete system than upgrading shocks and springs alone.
KING Front Sway Bar Links
The package also includes the KING Front Sway Bar Link Kit to complement the upgraded front suspension.
Rather than retaining the suspension package as simply a coilover/UCA combination, the additional KING hardware helps create a more comprehensive front-end configuration.

The rear suspension receives substantially more than shocks and springs.

The differential drop is specific to the 4WD configuration and is not included or required for the 2WD configuration, which does not have the corresponding front differential.
