FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Trail Ready Suspension System

Take your Tacoma beyond a basic lift kit with the FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Trail Ready Suspension System. This package combines FOX Performance Elite DSC front coilovers and rear remote-reservoir shocks with your choice of Camburg or ICON upper control arms, plus optional Old Man Emu rear leaf springs.

Built for Tacoma owners who want serious trail capability without sacrificing everyday drivability, this system gives you premium FOX damping, external adjustability, corrected front suspension geometry, and multiple rear configurations to match your truck.

What Comes With Every Kit?

Every configuration includes:

  • FOX 2.5 Performance Elite DSC Front Coilover Pair
  • FOX 2.5 Performance Elite DSC Rear Remote Reservoir Shock Pair
  • Your choice of Camburg X-Joint or ICON Delta Joint Upper Control Arms
  • Your selected rear shock lift range
  • Optional OME rear leaf springs when selected

Quantity 1 = one complete suspension system based on the options you select.

Which Options Should I Choose?

We've made the kit customizable so you can match the suspension to how your Tacoma is actually built.

1. Choose Your Upper Control Arms

Camburg X-Joint UCA – Performance

Choose Camburg if you want a premium performance-oriented upper control arm to complement the FOX suspension.

The Camburg X-Joint UCA is designed for lifted Tacomas and helps improve suspension geometry, alignment capability, and usable wheel travel.

Best for:

  • Aggressive trail use
  • Performance-focused builds
  • Customers who prefer Camburg components
  • Tacomas running larger tires and upgraded suspension

ICON Delta Joint UCA – Low Maintenance

Choose ICON if you want an aftermarket UCA designed around excellent articulation while retaining a sealed, service-friendly joint.

Best for:

  • Daily driver + trail combinations
  • Frequent street use
  • Overland/trail builds
  • Customers looking for a lower-maintenance joint design

Important: An aftermarket upper control arm is included with every configuration of this suspension system.

2. Choose Your Rear Shock Lift Range

This selection should be based on your Tacoma's actual rear suspension lift height.

0–1.5" Rear Lift

Choose this if the rear of your Tacoma is:

  • Stock height
  • Slightly lifted
  • Approximately 0–1.5" above factory rear ride height

Includes:

FOX 883-26-112 Performance Elite DSC Rear Shocks

2–3" Rear Lift

Choose this if your Tacoma's rear suspension is approximately:

2–3" above factory rear ride height

Includes:

FOX 883-26-113 Performance Elite DSC Rear Shocks

Important

Do not choose rear shock length based only on how much weight you carry.

Choose the rear shock according to your truck's rear suspension lift height.

3. Choose Your Rear Leaf Springs

Factory Leaf Springs

Choose this if you want to keep your existing factory Tacoma rear leaf springs.

No replacement leaf springs are included with this selection.

Best for: customers who already have the rear ride height and load capacity they want.

OME Medium Load – arbEL111R

Choose the Old Man Emu Medium Load leaf springs if you want to upgrade the factory rear leaf packs for improved load support and suspension performance.

Best for:

  • Daily driving
  • Trail use
  • Camping equipment
  • Light to moderate constant accessories
  • General-purpose Tacoma builds

Includes:

2 × Old Man Emu arbEL111R Rear Leaf Springs

OME Heavy Load – arbEL112R

Choose the Heavy Load option for Tacomas that regularly carry substantial additional rear weight.

Best for trucks with permanent equipment such as:

  • Bed campers
  • Heavy rear bumpers
  • Drawer/storage systems
  • Recovery equipment
  • Overland equipment
  • Other substantial constant rear loads

Includes:

2 × Old Man Emu EL112R Rear Leaf Springs

The EL112R is the heavier-duty option and is intended for trucks carrying significant constant rear weight.

FOX Performance Elite Technology

The FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series is designed for drivers who want substantially more suspension capability than a conventional monotube shock.

DSC Adjustable Damping

FOX's Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjusters allow you to fine-tune compression damping for different terrain, vehicle loads, and driving conditions.

This gives you more control over how the suspension behaves whether you're:

  • Daily driving
  • Running washboard roads
  • Crawling technical trails
  • Carrying additional gear
  • Driving faster off-road terrain

Remote Reservoirs

The external reservoirs increase fluid capacity and help manage heat during demanding off-road use.

2.5" Aluminum Shock Bodies

Large aluminum shock bodies provide increased oil capacity and efficient heat dissipation for more consistent performance during extended use.

Quick Selection Guide

Mostly stock rear suspension?
Choose 0–1.5" Rear Lift + Factory Leaf Springs.

Want upgraded OME leaf springs?
Choose OME Medium or Heavy based on the amount of constant weight your Tacoma carries, then select the FOX rear shock range that matches your resulting rear ride height.

Want the more performance-focused UCA?
Choose Camburg X-Joint.

Want a sealed, lower-maintenance UCA setup?
Choose ICON Delta Joint.

Important Fitment Note

Rear ride height can vary depending on vehicle configuration, accessories, constant load, and leaf-spring setup.

Because FOX offers different rear shocks for different lift ranges, verify your expected rear lift height before selecting 0–1.5" or 2–3" rear shocks.
